I Wait While I Decry the Wait!  


Is a sentence belonging to a song by Joanna Newsom titled “Occident, which describes an exodus to the west in a desire and ‘distortion of property’, from one that stays behind. It is a phrase which denotes both a lack of agency, while recognizing the wait as a conscious act.
